There are a great many ways of exploring this varied region. Ramble through valleys, cross plains, stroll through vineyards, or pedal your way along the Route des Vins. No matter where you roam, these landscapes will take you by surprise.

Wine Tastings

Guests at our hotel are warmly welcome to a free wine tasting in our own wine cellar. If you wish to visit other winegrowing estates, we will be pleased to help you to arrange appointments, or can organize guided tours of various vineyards for you.

Walks and Rambles

Ramble through the glorious countryside of Burgundy and roam the vineyards and picturesque villages. The nearby plain and plateau, with vineyards, meadows, cattle, sheep, and forests, are an attractive destination for rambles. Chambolle-Musigny makes an ideal starting point.

Cycle Tours

We have bicycles available free of charge for guests in our hotel. Idyllic vineyards and enchanting villages await you on the Voie des Vignes vineyard cycle route. Enliven your sightseeing with gourmet interludes. We shall also be pleased to make up a hotel picnic basket for you, containing local specialties.

Burgundy boasts a grand total of 20 golf courses, 10 of them with 18 holes. Some are embedded in the winegrowing landscape, while others are well provided with water obstacles or offer charming views of venerable walls and châteaux. We especially recommend the following three 18-hole courses:
  • Golf Jacques Laffite, Dijon
  • Golf de Beaune-Levernois
  • Golf de Château de Chailly

Spa de Bourgogne

The benefits of the active agents of grapes to health and well-being have been known since antiquity. Recent research lends scientific support to this. Treat yourself to in-house grape products at the Spa de Bourgogne in Beaune. You might enjoy a massage à la Bourgogne, a Premier Cru treatment, or a body scrub with Pinot Noir grapes. There is an added bonus for guests from our hotel: a 10% discount on these pleasures.

Guided Tours

On request we are delighted to organize guided tours, with commentary in your own language. Beaune and Dijon lend themselves ideally to this approach. Knowledgeable guides have much to tell you about the history, culture, and lifestyle of these multifaceted towns.

And More ...

Burgundy also offers multiple opportunities for spending leisure time on water: swimming, bathing, angling, or cruising along the canals. We can also recommend a venue for horseback riding. Or, if you fancy an aerial view, take a trip in a hot-air balloon.
