The CHÂTEAU ANDRÉ ZILTENER wine house was founded by Klaus-Dieter Ziltener in 1968. He realized his vision of making Burgundies better known in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, while focusing on top-quality and personal sales advice. In 1991, he fulfilled his long-cherished dream by acquiring the old château in Chambolle-Musigny. The château, which had been erected on the foundations of an old Cistercian abbey, was extensively renovated and opened its doors two years later, as a four-star hotel for guests and wine lovers from all over the world.
His daughter, Nicole Ziltener Bollinger, joined the family firm in 2002, thus ensuring the continuation of the family tradition. She studied business economics in St. Gallen and attended enology courses during her semester abroad in Dijon. Representing the second generation, she is a member of the Executive Management, and is responsible for marketing and sales.
