Between the villages of Savigny-les-Beaune and Ladoix-Serrigny the wine village of Aloxe-Corton is situated at the foot of the Corton. The appellation is small but has some excellent and very well-known red wine and white wine areas. The most famous among them are Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. The Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru is a powerful, elegant wine with fine tannins and a rich purple color. He is well structured and balanced, has opulent aromas of red and black fruits, embedded in an elegant oak spice.
